The Playmakers began in 2002 for the Santa Clarita youth to provide an educational league to learn and play the sport of basketball.

Our association offers various programs for Santa Clarita youth grades 4th through 12th.  

Sign-ups for these programs are advertised in the local newspapers and on this web site

All practices are held at local school facilities. Games are played on regular full court basketball courts and follow High School rules provided by the California High School Athletic Association.

The games are officiated by two (2) referees, whenever possible, with the majority of our referees sanctioned as High School officials in the sport of basketball.

Since our beginning all Coaches and Assistant Coaches have focused their time and energy  to expanding this program and focusing on the fundamentals and knowledge of the game. Since 2002 our program has grown by the number of participants who have enjoyed playing basketball and have continued to grow their skills to ultimately play on both the Junior Varsity or Varsity High School teams.

We thank everyone who has participated in our growth and dedicated their time to provide this program to our Santa Clarita youth. Players, Parents, Coaches and Basketball fans are invited to take a look around our site and learn more about our program.
